Creating a higher order through our lower parts

Tantra

Tantra is a Sanskrit word that means "to weave, to web, to extend".

Depending on the context, tantra can mean varying things. At base, it is a set of spiritual beliefs out of Hinduism about the connection of all existence. Tantra believes that what is worldly is also Divine, that the manifested experience of our lives and all that makes it up is the same as higher conciousness, the same as The Divine. All we have to do is fold our understanding of the universe into itself, and all becomes a higher weave of divine and worldly play. There is no separation between The Divine and ourselves, we just often convince ourselves there is. This divine play is often represented as Shakti/Shiva, the male and female principles of the universe.

In the healing aspect of tantra, Shakti and Shiva reign and celebration of sacred sexuality often comes into play. If the microsm of loving human bodies of men and women are the same as the macrocosm of Divine Masculine and Feminine, then when we celebrate our bodies, we celebrate heaven.

Breathe, be attentive, love your body, love your soul, and pass it around the web of everything we make together.
